Climate Zone
South West ofFrance is under the influence of the Atlantic Ocean to the west, so the climat is oceanic and mild, but less rainy and windy than the Landes. It is full of Mediterranean tendencies seen it is tossed between the wet and cool Bordeaux influences and the hot and dry impacts from the Languedoc. From time to time – mainly in winter – the continental influence enters the game, bringing in its wake thick fogs. Ocassionally the hot Pyrenean winds sometimes add their two cents to this climatic partition.Never the less in autumn it may be subject of some winds and heavy rains. As for the snow, it remains very occasional and it rarely happens.
